Jay’s Just Shutdown The Apprentice (Update 1)

… the Autoresponder Apprentice coaching program, that is! And I managed to snag one of the ten spots last week just before the virtual doors closed.

Jay White runs this program and has carved out a very lucrative niche writing email autoresponder copy for some of the top Internet Marketers.

Email autoresponder copywriting’s an area that interests me (and potential clients have already been asking about) - so when he relaunched the coaching offer I decided to bite! There’s a bit of an “in joke” in the previous sentence as Jay used to write catalog copy for Bass Pro.

Each module comes with an assignment and I’ve completed #1 (deceptively simple..) and started to draft #2 (more difficult). The assignments can be sent in for Jay’s review.

So, why am I telling you this here?

Two reasons, really.

1) Personal Accountability - I’ve a coaching background and know that accountability works. As the weeks roll by I’ll post short updates on how thing’s are going. (Paying nearly $1000 for Jay’s experience and assistance is a motivator all by itself, but see #2 below.)

2) You Can Hire Me To Write Your Autoresponder Email Copy - Right now I’m an apprentice, literally. But this is a fast-paced program and Jay’s keen for his students to do well. So, expect that my rates will be going up in the not too distant future.

PS - Oct 2011 Update:

Jay’s program is now promoted by AWAI… click the link and you’ll get to their page. I do still write email copy - but for b2b clients in Information Technology markets.

I am so glad to hear you are going to sell your services for autoresponder courses, Mark!

When I tell people it’s a service I provide, they look at me as if I’d grown horns. I have no idea why anyone would think this is not a service they would need to pay for, but unfortunately they do.

I must say nearly $1,000 seems over the top, but it’s all relevant to your potential earnings.

Have fun, but more importantly, make money!!

Cheryl

[Cheryl,

Thanks for stopping by!
Yes $1000 is getting there - but on my Japanese CC bill as 102,000 yen we're now in the Himalayan foothills, struggling to acclimatize etc haha!

Actually, this is an investment in my copywriting education and comes from a % of writing profits. And a valid business expense too. So all's well.
